About Walk 50000 Studs For Nothing:
This is the first game my son and I have played using cross-play, with I on my PC (Rift S) and he on his Quest 2… and we’ve been having a great time. The funny thing is that I think we’ve had more fun finding the golf balls (those with the “fade” paint jobs are our fav) and putters than actually playing the golf part of the game. That’s not to say the golfing isn’t fun, because it is. A few holes here and there are frustrating because they set you up to fail (no side rail, an improbable jump, etc) but the game as a whole is VERY fun. I can’t wait for us to unlock and play all the courses. We’ll probably buy the DLC too. It’s a shame we have to buy the game and DLC twice (I’m assuming) since we play together in the same house, but it’s worth it. I have played the first two courses so far and I have to say this is by far my most favourite mini golf VR game!!! The environments so far are stellar (I’ve played pirates and zen/Japanese) and I love taking the time to explore the course to find all the collectable balls!!! Usually in golf games the hits are very wonky and have somewhat frequent mess-ups, but this game is super accurate I find (with the default 50% putter power setting). I can’t wait to get my friend to buy this and play with me when he gets his VR! If you love mini golf and cool worlds to play it in, this game is absolutely for you! Edit/Update 1: I finished all the courses and they are all phenomenal! From the hole creativity, to the peaceful music, to the ball exploration and the whole immersive environment, I truly love this whole game. It is by far the best mini golf experience I have had! I just picked up all the DLC and look forward to playing those!
