About Titan Warfare:
A really fun, addictive little game. Reminds me of those oldschool browser games like Grepolis where everything you do runs on a set timer, which increases the further you progress. You can perfectly fine play this game in the background while playing something else at the same time. It’s pay to win, sure. But you’re not really competing with anyone. You’re rather co-op building a town with whoever is in your guild. Decent community as well. And the developers seem very active. There is a new fun event every so often where you can earn rewards together. Well worth playing. I played this on another platform for around 100 hours as a F2P player. This game could be absolutely fantastic. It’s extremely basic being one long repetitive slow road of progression. That is, if you’re free to play. This is really the crux of it though, they’ve taken a simple idea and weaponised it to suck the wallets of addicts dry. Every single thing is gated which you can just so happen to skip with money. Somehow, upgrading a level 1 basic table takes 25 times longer than making a fancy piece of armour? There’s no rationale except “give us your money”. It’s not easy to ignore either, it’s maximum predatory practices in action add that to how much they want you to pay for every little thing and you’re having a laugh. If you play this game be prepared to either have a) 10 years spare, or b) £10,000 spare. There’s much better shop management sims by a long shot and they won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
