About Thy Hood:
It isn’t pretty, there’s no weapon or map variety, there are only five classes and they’re horribly unbalanced, and the lore and cosmetic unlocks are lackluster. Sounds like , right? 125 hours later, none of this has changed, and yet I find myself committing guard genocide for a round or two every day. Something about the core gameplay is just very satisfying, especially when you roll the dice with randoms and things click. So caveat emptor, I can’t say it’s a good game, but somehow, in spite of my criticism, it’s a fun one. Can be fun at times versus equal experience players but it lacks balance. Just played a game where the enemy team coordinated to simply kill and grieve. They were without a doubt far more experienced. Ours side did not show that level of skill, missing clear shots and over committing to attacks. Enemy took over all the spawns and just simply spawn killed. They had plenty of time to winch but choose not to. In fact they had winched at some point but had purposely left the last notch untouched. The game overall show promising aspects such as the stealth mechanics and strategic planning but in my opinion could use some look into its balancing perhaps. I’m no expert but this interaction has left me wanted to reevaluate my life choices and deciding to just not touch this game for a while.you shouldn’t allow the assassination button to be used. Simple. Add a 10 second timer. Add a FOV for players that trigger it, and make it a distance of 25 meters. Like, something so simple ruined your game, and you took no feedback for it.
