About Stands Awakening:
honestly really funny to see a game that is easy to build an incredible set up with the right upgrades. i got a great run and got to 92. the only problem is that each wave after 60 took me around 10 minutes while waves around the 90’s took up to 30. other than that it is way more than i could have hoped for from such a cost effective game at less than a pound. i would definitely recommend this game to anyone that enjoys slow and methodical games that really scratch the strategic character building itch.Played for a while hoping to find the enjoyment but it just feels like a bad recreation of bitbreaker with a “spooky” angel theme attached to it. The controls can’t be changed. If you’re playing on a controller, you have to use the dual analogs, and you can’t remap anything to the triggers, making it basically impossible to shoot while jumping (without holding the controller very awkwardly). This whole game is jumping and shooting, it is unplayable. This is 2022. I don’t care if your game costs $0.99 or $99 – there is literally no acceptable excuse for not allowing people to change controls it’s barbarous. Maybe it flows better on keyboard / mouse, but the fact that you can’t change those settings either is also inexcusable. If you were thinking about playing this on a controller, do not waste your time or dollar on this one. Love rougelikes and love shooters and love wizards. Dislike this game. Starts way too slow, and seems like there’s one or two types of power-ups that are viable. The others are just time wasters that prolong your failures.
