About Redwood Prison:
Great game, but since the developers are actually reading reviews and giving commentary, I will also leave some meaningful input of my gameplay so far: Mechanics: 1. As a user of an Ultrawide with a 32:9 ratio, resolution-wise the game has 5120 x 1440 settings which is good, however, some buttons and HUD appear to go partially off screen, after looking into the settings, I found that merciless is a difficulty, which I did not originally see as it was fully cut off, I found it later in the pause settings. I am unsure of any other ultrawides, but as 32:9 goes I can say it needs a bit of work 2. The only framerate settings are either 30, 60, or 0, which I can only assume 0 is unlimited. I suggest also adding other standard settings of 75, 120, 144, 240, and 360. Currently I have to play at 60 FPS because unlimited causes my GPU fans to speed up to around 2200 RPM. I will experiment with undervolting, however I think that allowing higher frame caps would help for sure 3. I had a bug that was odd where hitting people would freeze the game 4. The riot handgun slide/barrel is always in the back position upon being fired after firing Gameplay improvements: 1. I notice the name of said prisoner is on the cell outside, upon looking at this sign on the door, I think that the info that pops up when looking at said prisoner should also pop up, (Gang, danger level, crime, etc) 2. The shooting range should have an added practice mode which allows you to tune aiming settings inside of the practice mode, such as sensitivity, or at least allow a pause during shooting in order to change sensitivity. Each game is different and needs tweaking. 3. I think a taser gun would be more practical than the taser currently in game, perhaps the current taser can also instead be a stunstick? 4. It honestly is a shame that being a legitimate officer in the prison seems almost impossible to make it. I tried to do everything I could to try not to be bad, but I just couldn’t help but steal and resell contraband back to inmates, I think that requiring cash in addition to levels/XP in order to rank up is strange
