There is an unlock progression system that mainly unlocks additional buildings which provide some mechanic changes but not really anything super deep. Still recommending due to low price and a good chill out game to play here and there. Pile Up! is a good-looking casual vertical city-building game that has some modern roguelike elements. Although roguelike elements exist, I feel like they don’t contribute much to the experience but bloat it with mediocre content rather than focusing on the good part.
