It runs contrary to the idea of player agency from the outset, (And given one of the characters, the druid, is flat out inferior to the others, this is unfortunate). But it’s made even more unfortunate by the starting perk system, which grants players random perks that help you progress- of which some -vastly- outweigh the utility of others…and which feel necessary because of the way the game handles enemy scaling....

About Collect All Pets: Pets is an autobrawler in the style of Hearthstone Battlegrounds or Storybook Brawl. Overall, if you’ve enjoyed the gameplay of those games, I can recommend Super Auto Pets without reservation, but if those games didn’t appeal to you, Super Auto Pets probably isn’t going to change that, with one exception: there is no time-pressure in the ‘Arena’ mode. In that mode, you get an unlimited amount of time to decide on animals for your team and do upgrades at your own pace....

This might sound like a list of complaints or nit picky but like some of my other reviews, I hope it will be taken as constructive criticism by the makers and be an overview of what I thought I was getting versus what I got....
