One of the best fighting games I’ve ever played. Online is dead, but when it was alive every character is fun. When loosing you feel like you’re learning. There’s no story sadly which it would be nice if they added one. Not only that, they have a COOL DOWN on assists. A lot of the issues with anime fighting games is that there is almost no cool down on assists which supports a play style where you can run away and your support can chase you. Not only that the characters are all different, require a different amount of skills. Then isn’t just a copy and paste most of the time. Sure there are similar moves but there are also different ways to use them. The inputs are very similar to guilty gear. Though the only bad thing about the combat within this game is that the perfect dodge mechanic can be spammed. Overall I would say this game is worth it, but only when it was alive.
