About My Hero Mania:
They need to stop stacking so many functions in the same controller button. Tap Y to change character – unless you’re too close to another character and instead you trigger a useless, annoying combo move. Hold Y to bring up the character menu – unless you’re playing a character that has a lengthy transformation sequence (looking at you Iron Man). Overall, I kept feeling annoyed with this game while I tried to get all the collectibles. It was a collection of small nuisances that made the gameplay unpleasant. Also really annoying that you can’t fast travel to the second map layer. That was a bad choice. I don’t understand why there are so much people that don’t like this game. I think it’s a good representation of a “modern” LEGO games. I enjoyed it, but unfortunately I encountered many LEGO typical bugs and the game crashed a few times. Nevertheless I think it’s a great game and I totally recommend it if you like LEGO games. Rating: 4.0 I would say as of now this is the one of the best Lego games; only second to Lego DC Super Villains. This one has very little jank compared to other Lego games, but it is a symbol of these games so there definitely is some. All the Stan Lee rescue things bugged out somewhat as the dummy seems to get hung up on walls and stuff. I’ve clipped through the Avengers HQ etc. Overall, it has a lot of characters and it is a really enjoyable game. Kang as the main bad guy is lame and the voice acting does not sell him well. The game has below average voice acting, but the music is just amazing. The game tries to push the Guardians of the Galaxy WAY too much, but I guess if one is a fan that is no issue. I do recommend this game dearly despite its flaws which are very minor in the end.
