About Murder Mystery 2:
Just completed Episode 1 and I have to say it delivers on why I’ve been excited to play. It almost felt like Christmas morning when I saw it release today. Anyway, this reminds me a lot of Unheard, so check that on Steam.
- Believable characters. + Audio ambiance is MWAH (although it overlaps w/ the office ambiance when the Episode 2 intro vid plays). + Deductions don’t feel like a barney sing-along- actually a little challenging with all the information you need to remember. – An ALT+F4 situation occurs when in the deductions screen (not actually sure what really does it) if you click too fast at Today, I finished the whole game. This is a wonderful game. It makes me feel like I’m really reasoning like a detective, discovering the truth through clues. However, it has some obvious disadvantages. Sometimes, my logic is correct, but I didn’t connect the two clues precisely. I just connected another clue related to the correct clue. However, this could not advance the plot. In the following plots, there are more and more clues and evidences, and it is difficult for me to accurately find the two connecting points. I hope that two or three related clue connections can be counted as correct answers. Sometimes, new evidence appears off the screen, and the clue wall does not have a corresponding expansion, so I have to use help to get the new evidence to be displayed, otherwise I cannot connect to them, which makes me only get B-level. I think This is a bug …… This is a very novel case solving game. You need to correlate the evidence and deduce the conclusion. At first, I felt a little confused, but when I became familiar with it, I felt very interesting, but my ideas were often different from those of the game planner, which made it difficult for me to correctly connect the evidence to promote the plot, so sometimes I had to use help, which made it difficult for me to get A-level.
