Federation77 Pre-Installed:

While SABLE is filled with bugs and half-considered puzzles, it also is a game filled with incredibly beautiful art, a large and cohesive world, some really fun gameplay, and more wasted potential than is generally found in a dozen games. I could say much more, but the most important aspects of SABLE are its beauty, and the degree to which it can break a player’s heart. This could have been one of the best games of the decade, yet it never does more than stand up to the challenge very briefly, then run away, defeated. I went into this game pretty blind to what it was about. All I knew was that I liked the vibe art style and it was an indie game that some of the reviews mentioned was buggy. I expected it to be yet another short, but fun little indie game that I’d be done with in an evening. The game turned out to actually have a lot more depth to it than I expected and really sucked me in. It consumed my life for a few days nights as I poured almost 40hrs into it getting all the achievements, which I don’t normally do for most games. I mean, I am a little bit of a completionist with some games, but usually just within the context of getting all the things within the game, completing all the quests or whatever gives me some sort of feeling of having gone the extra mile.
