About Creatures Of Atherian:
It’s something like a card based version of DoTA / League of Legends. You have a hero hierarchy in play, and get to select a few basic DNA cards, and when you get 3 of a kind, you can merge 3 level 1 cards into a level 2 card, and when you get 3 level 2 cards, you can get the level 3 cards, which are the ultimate cards in the game. Here are the following attributes of each race : Human Males : receive defense and magic defense buffs and share buffs with friendly cards Human Females : receive +30% attack speeds Mages : Bonus magic damage Snail DNA : High Defense / Magic Defense Undeads DNA : Deal AoE poison dmg and fire dmg, with 1 free resurrect Treefolk DNA : Deal AoE poison dmg and fire dmg, some picks heal 2% HP within 1 tile radius every 2 secs Dragon DNA : Deal high magic dmg and usually have some spell dmg resistance Genie DNA : Deal high magic dmg and ultimates usually have high magic AoE abilities Beastfolk DNA : Bleeding dmg inflicted, some of them have AoE bleeding abilities You will fail a lot in this game, there is no storyline nor plot progression, to keep you interested. But it doesn’t matter, the whole idea is for a quick ’round’ whereby you keep forming combos that work, and you get tougher enemies, so you have to always figure out who you want to battle to get to the next stage. For every round you battle and win, you will receive both cash and additional cards for you to form combos and merge with, so you need to be focused on the sort of stack you want to build, Every few rounds there will be ‘rest’ rounds for you to sort your stacks out, you can ‘sell’ off cards that you are not interested in stacking, get some cash, and then usually after the resting rounds, you can visit the merchant to buy both cards you want, and items. There are 34 items in the game (more might come later), some give additional health to your cards, some increase physical attack or magic attack, some increase defense or magic defense, some items grant you immunity against spells or even dodging capabilities, some increase attack speed, some give life leech, some give spell vamp, some give higher critical strikes, some increase critical strike damage, some grant AoE damage, or trigger effects like burn damage over time, frost bite, AoE enemy attack speed reduction, AoE friendly troop movement speed, some even grant free 1 time resurrection, so on and so forth. If you have played DoTA or League of Legends before, you will recognise similarities due to items similar to Butterfly, Buriza, Heart of Tarrasque, Monkey King Bar, WarMog, etc As you play on, the game rewards you with some points. These points can be used to buy global passive abilities like increased gold per round won, increased healing at the end of every round, bonus physical dmg / magic dmg / physical defense / magic defense, advancements in burn / freeze / poison / bleeding dmg, even advancements in friendly buffs like increased attack speed, or increased healing effects during combat rounds. The replayability lies in the power to customise how you want to play. You can get pretty far regardless of choosing to make strengths stronger, or mitigating weaknesses. Try it ! Need to ask the game developers to have a language selection option to toggle to other languages. Pretty fun game ! And they have global rankings too. Check it out !
